Closer and closer
Oh my Sainted trousers, our launch date is coming up in NINE DAYS! Pardon me whilst I perform a Kermit-flail (TM).
In the mean time . . . A duly appropriate graphic I designed for the launch email;

PROCESS WORK;
Thumbnails for possible designs (my boss ended up picking #1);
Very quick colour study;
Pencil sketch;
Now I have to go drink copious amounts of tea in preparation for my driving lesson. Meep!

And now for something completely Dickens.
Life has been chaotic . . . Time for an update.
Something non-work related;
I've had to take it easy, owing to having undergone surgery. In the meantime, I've been rewatching the 2002 film, Nicholas Nickleby, one of my very favourites. In times like these, I think we can all appreciate a story like the one in this film, and I'm partial to friendship stories. So, here's a quick illo of Nicholas and Smike, an orphaned young man and the abused, crippled youth he takes under his wing. They're on a road to . . . the future! Whatever it may bring.
Doodled whilst in my bed of pain, ha ha, given a quick colour job today, my first day back at my laptop! Hurrah!
It's a really beautiful (and underrated) film. Trailer's here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVtU5Szhwko
More soon. Sorry, I've been swamped with . . . non-art related things as of late! Ack! That will change soon, if I have anything to say about it!
